Advocacy: A Story I Told
Several months ago I spoke about Patient Advocacy to a Rotary Club in North Carolina. After the meeting a member invited me to speak to his “team” at work. When he introduced me he said, “after hearing Betsy at Rotary, I realized that I have no legal documents for my twenty one year old daughter. If she gets hit by a truck, I have no legal rights regarding her care.”
That statement was an eye opener for me. I had not considered young adults. Do you have legal rights for your young adult? It also affirmed that my message is resonating.
I’d love to share my message with your group. The book is available for bulk purchase or co-branding with your business.
